I really like to express my gratitude and thanks to both of you and Inca Trail Reservations for the impeccable arrangements made for our 8 day trail and the follow on stay. From the time we were collected at the airport, through the trail and the drop off back at the airport , everything went according to the arrangements. We could not fault anything.

We had a wonderful time on the hike . Only the weather was not great. But that is understandable. Both our guides Jonathan and Marcus(Marco?) were great, fun to be with and knowledgeable.

I will definitely recommend Inca Trail Reservations to any anyone thinking of or wanting to do the Inca Trail and will definitely use them if I do the trail again in the future .

Thank you so much for helping to arrange our recent trek to Machu Picchu! It was so nice knowing that everything was taken care of and all we had to do was show up.  Jhonnathan did a great job, he was extremely patient with us on the trek when it got difficult and knew how to keep our morales up.  He was very knowledgeable as well, always having an answer for our many questions.  And the porters were just amazing!  It blew my mind to see them go flying past me on the trail.  Truly unbelievable!
 
We all had an amazing experience and couldn't be happier that we chose to book through Inca Trail Reservations.  You can be sure I will recommend your company if any of my friends or family ever decide to make the trek to Machu Picchu.

I just wanted to pass on my thanks to the whole team, particularly Jair and Marco. We had a fantastic experience and are so glad that we booked the trip with you. Jair was a brilliant guide, probably the best we've ever had. He was so helpful, informative and accommodating and it is clear he has such passion for the trail and Machu Picchu. And the porters were fantastic, such great guys, always willing to help out and the food was really good.

I had the opportunity to hike the classic Inca Trail through Inca Trail reservations in May. I had high expectations for this hike as it was one I'd wanted to take most of my life. My expectations were exceeded. The group that Inca Trail reservations put together for us were fantastic. Smithy, our guide, was knowledgable, funny, and made sure that everyone was ok. I still keep in touch with him today. Johanna, the other guide, took care of the back of the group and couldn't have been nicer - chatting about the trail and taking pictures for us. The porters were the hardest working people I have ever seen and should be commended. The food was restaurant quality - we were dumbfounded at how great the chef was. The trek itself was life changing - tough and beautiful! As I said before, this was a trek I had always wanted to take. Because of my experience, I look forward to doing it again, and I'll book through Inca Trail Reservations.

My hike with Inca trail Reservations
We found Inca Trail Reservations through the South American Explorers website.  Our group was small and personalized. Some of the other groups hiking the trail were larger than 20 (3 of hikers, not including porters) and I have to say I preferred hiking with our small group.  Roger, our guide, spoke excellent English (sorry to say but my Spanish sucks) and provided us with an overview of the history of the Inca, the flora and fauna, and had a great sense of humour.  Our porters were friendly (and worked hard carrying our food and gear) and the chef created meals that worked for everyone.  Inca Trail Reservations looks after their porters.  The hike was challenging and rewarding.  The scenery and historic sites were spectacular.  I look forward to returning one day with my daughter so that she can experience the hike and hospitality of the Peruvians.  Thanks again!!

Classic Inca Trail
The quality of the staff and service made my experience of the Inca Trail truly unforgettable.  The best words to describe the service and people is \'highly professional\'. I would certainly recommend Inca Trail Reservations to my friends and if I returned to repeat the experience, I would happily go with the same company.

What a great experience. The scenery and flowers were fantastic, even though we were in the clouds much of the time - mystical and magical.
Our group was diverse and fun, young, old (me), full of fun. We helped each other up the steep hills and down the Inca steps. The trip is tough and the rewards are great. Go for it!

The whole trip from start to finish was really great. Walter was an infortmative and good fun guide, whilst the porters always had our things ready for us on arrival. The quality of the food was far better than i had even hoped for as well. The whole trip was capped off excellently by the sight of macchu picchu from the sungate on the fourth morning, which was truly unforgettable! Thanks a lot for a great and well run experience.

We had a wonderful time in Peru. Everything from when we arrived in Lima to when we left was taken care of very carefully. A couple time things were lost in translation but in the overall trip, it didn't matter.
Our Guide on the Trail, Edgar, was wonderful and always wanted to make sure that we were having a good time and healthy and safe. We enjoyed his company and the company of the others in the group.
Our porters were also great and such wonderful people.
We would highly recommend your company again.

Unforgateable
Hard to put into words , even the photos don't do justice to Machu Picchu and the trek to get there .  Incredible, stunning, majestic, inspiring, humbling and exciting are just some of the emotions, maybe i should mention exhausted but rewarding as well . we were pleasantly surprised by how well the trip was organised from the detailed briefing , the punctual pick up, the fantastic porters and cook and helpful guide. i would highly recommend to anyone  - you wont be disappointed.

Terrific Trip
You certainly surpassed our expectations. Our experience was terrific. We thoroughly enjoyed our journey and confidently reccomend \"Inca Trail Reservations\" as an excellent outfitter, with helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable staff.
I encourage you to encourage your future clients to bring various small gifts (school equipment, toys, etc.) for the children (and families) in the remote areas that we visit. We brought sets of colored pencils to distribute and made a few kids very happy. It was too easy for such a great reward of joy.

Enlightenment on the Inca Trail
Everything was more than we could have ever imagined.  Our tour guide, Gerson, was absolutely the best part of our experience.  His knowledge of everything and friendliness truly made our trip one that we will never forget.

I just wanted to thank you again for your assistance on my trip to Machu Picchu.
It was a great time and I was highly impressed with the service, food, etc. I will definately recommend your company in the future for anyone who might be interested in going.
The hotel that I stayed in in Aguas Calientes was very nice and I really liked the room that I was in. I wasn't as impressed with the hotel in Cuzco (La Casona Real), but the location was good and with some minor sprucing up and new beds, etc, it could be a very nice hotel.
Roberto (the tour guide for the trail) was exceptional and the same goes for Jose who briefed me prior to the hike and who also met me at the train station in Ollyantambo and rode with me back to the airport in Cuzco while also stopping along the way to show me some things including a parade that reminded me of Carnival in Rio.
The food was very good and I was extremely impressed with the porters.  They provided a lot of attention to detail, especially the "waiter" who brought us the meals, tea, etc.
The only thing I would recommend is also providing the train schedule in advance to alliviate any concerns that a person may have in trying to make a connection, such as I did.  There is also a lot to do/see in Cuzco, so if anyone asks, you should recommend that they spend two days there in order to see the sights and get acclimated to the altitude prior to the hike.  While I didn't get any altitude sickness, I could see where that might pose a problem to a person who arrived in Cuzco only 24 hours prior to going on the hike.
