As normally happens during this time of the year, the anxiety of taking part on the Inca Trail Hike and being able to secure an Inca Trail Permit for next year's Machu Picchu 2009 trekking season is generated. The National Institute of Culture in Cusco, Peru, keeps the way it has been working for the past years.
The information for 2009 Trekking season on the Inca Trail Permits Availability page is now available. The trail is closed in the month of February.
