Day 1: LIMA PICK UP
Assistance at your arrival to Jorge Chavez International Airport (LIM) and transfer to your hotel in Miraflores or San Isidro. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 2: LIMA CITY TOUR & ARCHAEOLOGY MUSEUM RAFAEL LARCO HERRERA
n the morning Lima city tour , you will be picked up from your hotel at 10
AM.
We will visit the colonial area and to the Plaza de Armas where you will see
the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the City
Hall as well as the XVII century church and cloister of San Francisco, a
world cultural heritage . Then we will go to the modern downtown with a view
of the Pacific Ocean and the modern residential suburb of San Isidro .
We will also visit The Archaeology Museum Rafael Larco Herrrera The 18th
century colonial-style museum houses the largest and most impressive ceramic
collection in the world, with about 55,000 pre-Colombian clay pots on
display. The collection concentrates on the refined ceramics of the Moche
Dynasty, the people who lived along the northern coast of Peru between 200
and 700 AD. The Moche culture is recognized as accomplishing one of the
greatest imaginative languages of ancient Peru through the use of creative
pottery, providing clues to all aspects of their civilization without the
use of the written word. One can learn about their religion, agriculture,
transport, dance and music through their ceramic designs and shapes. The
Moche are also renowned for their fascinating erotic pottery and the famous
collection is on display in the separate ‘Erotic Hall’, depicting sexual
practices of several Peruvian cultures in a lifelike, explicit and often
humorous way.

Day 3: AREQUIPA
You will be picked up from your hotel in the morning, transfer to the
airport to take the flight to Arequipa (airfare included) Upon arrival
reception and transfer to the selected Hotel. In the afternoon around 3 pm
you'll take the Arequipa half day city tour that includes the visit at the
Santa Catarina monastery The city has fine spanish buildings and many old
and interesting churches built of sillar, a pearly white volcanic material
almost exclusevely used in the construction of Arequipa. The Santa Catalina
Convent is by far the most remarkable sight, opened in 1970 after 4
centuries of mistery. Overnight. (B)
Day 4: COLCA CANYON
At 08:00 a.m. leave Arequipa towards nor west direcction behind snow-covered
Chachani, Yura, small valley with thermal springs, see wild vicuñas in Pampa
Cañahuas national reserve, Alpacas & llamas in Tocra, some bidrs like
flamingoes, ibis, andean gooze, ducks, andean eagle "Kara Kara" view point
of the Volcanoes and snow covered mountains in Patapampa (4,800
m.)(15,000ft.), See the Ampato, Sabancaya, Walca Walca, etc.) Chivay Capital
of the valley. Afternoon visit to the termal springs & pools in La Calera.
(Admission to the pools not included , about $2 per person). Overnight at
the hotel (B,L,D)
Day 5: COLCA CANYON
Early morning after breakfast leave for a full day excursion in the left
shore, beautiful tipical towns, like Yanque & Maca, colonial churches,
gently people with tipical needlework dresses, hundreds of pre inca terraces
still in use with andean growings like corn, qinua, kiwicha (Amaranto), etc.
Lookout of The cross of the condor: see the deep of the canyon and if we
have good luck we will see the flight of the Condor . Stone scale models,
some pre inca graves. Time for lunch.
Return to Arequipa. (18:00 approx. in Arequipa.) Overnight. (B,L)
Day 6: CUSCO
Breakfast and transfer to the airport to take flight to Cusco (airfare
included) Upon arrival reception and transfer to the Monasterio hotel ,rest
of the Day at leisure - overnight (B).
DAY 7 CITY TOUR PM
In the afternoon: Cusco City Tour From 2 PM to 6.30pm .This tour includes
the Qoricancha (temple of the sun) and the Cathedral.
The tour drives along the Circunvalacion Road up to famous fortress of
Sacsahuaman, then to Q'enqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay, including Spanish
and English speaking guide. Include Tourist ticket valid for the entrance to
many museums and ruins as well. Overnight at the Monasterio Hotel (B)
DAY 8: SACRED VALLEY TOUR (departure day only on Tuesday, Thursday and
Sunday)
You will be picked up at 8,45A.M. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley
visiting:
The village of Pisac, a picturesque town of creole and colonial aspect and
its lndian market and craftfair. Lunch provided. In the afternoon you'll
visit to the fortress of Ollantaytambo, an architectural group that in the
days of the Tahuantinsuyo empire was a gigantic agricultural,
administrative, social, religious and military complex, then the Chincero
market. At the end Return to Cusco and overnight at the Monasterio hotel
(B;L)
DAY 9: MACHU PICCHU
All day excursion by alpine train to Machu Picchu. At 5:45 am you will leave
the Hotel to the train station , the train leaves at 6:15 am. Travel is in
"Vistadome" Class (formerly "Autowagon"). At 10:10 a.m., you will arrive at
the Aguas Calientes Station, from where you take a 20 minute bus ride to the
ruins of Machu Picchu. Once there, you will have a guided tour, with an
English speaking professional guide. The ruins are on the eastern slope of
Machu Picchu in two separate arcas: the agricultural and the urban. Lunch at
the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge (included). Overnight at the Sanctuary
Lodge hotel (B,L)

Day 10: MACHU PICCHU
Morning at leisure to explore the are by your own (entrance fee and
transportation not included). In the afternoon you will take the train to
Cuzco.
Upon arrival in Cuzco, transfer to the Monasterio hotel . Overnight(B)
DAY 11: TRASFER OUT
In the morning transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima (airfare
included) in time to get your international flight connection (B |

Day 01 : LIMA
Arrive and transfer to your hotel. If you arrive early, we can arrange a City Tour that includes museum visits or sight-seeing excursions.
DAY 02 : Lima - Ica. (B)(L) - Paracas, Ballestas Islands -
The Paracas National Reserve is the first marine conservation center of the country and one of the most important in the world. Established in 1975, it covers a total area of 335,00 ha. from which 117,406 are on land and 217,594 are in the ocean.
Nearby half the birds and marine mammal populations inhabiting the southern island's are protected within the fifty six hundred square mile, Paracas National Reserve.
You will take a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas islands, a critical hub for rare and endangered species including sea lions, two endangered turtles, and more than one hundred an ten migratory and resident sea birds. Typical lunch before the return to the Hotel.
DAY 03 : Ica. (B)(L) - Nazca Lines Overflight -
Transfer to Ica. You will board a 12-passenger, Cessna Grand Caravan for a 1-hour, 15-minute overflight of the mysterious Nazca Lines for this unforgettable experience. Using as their canvas Pampa Coloradan (Red Plains), a plateau 37 miles long and 15 miles wide, Nazca artists etched works of monumental proportion: a montage of geometric designs, or "geoglyphs", and whimsical portrayals of plants and animals such as the hummingbird, fish, dog, lizard, puma, spider, condor and monkey.
The lines spread over hundreds of square miles and were created by removing the rust-colored stones that cover the desert, revealing the light-colored soil beneath. In this dry, rainless environment, erosion has been practically nil, allowing the markings to endure virtually intact for 1,500 to 2,000 years.
The overflight of the Nazca Lines will be complemented by a guided tour of the vivid polychrome Nazca ceramics and world-reknowned Paracas textiles at the Ica's Regional Museum Adolfo Bermúdez Jenkins. Lunch before preparing to depart to Arequipa. Overnight transfer (first class service in bed-style seats).
DAY 04 : Arequipa. (B)(L)
Breakfast on board. Arrival and Transfer to Hotel. After Lunch you'll start the City and Campina Tour combined. You will visit: Main Square, Colonial Churches ("Claustros de la Compañia") and majestic Santa Catalina Monastery, considered a masterpiece of colonial architecture, this monastery is a large complex of rooms, picturesque plazas, ornate fountains and a maze of narrow, cobblestone streets; you'll also head to Yanahuara watchtower, "Mansion del Fundador", Sabandia mill and more typical villages and nearby country resorts. Return to the Hotel.
DAY 05 : Colca Canyon.(B)(L)
Transfer to Chivay. Visit (onthe way): National Reserve of Pampa Cañahuas (vicuña reserve). Transfer to the Hotel in Chivay. After lunch you'll prepare to head to the Thermal Waters of La Calera: this compound has several pools of thermo-medicinal waters with high amounts of sulphur and iron, which help on the treatment of illnesses such as rheumatism and arthritis. They are located at approximately 5 minutes from the City.
(bring a swimsuit). Return to the Hotel.
DAY 06 : Colca Canyon - Arequipa. (B)(L)
Early breakfast, then you'll head to the "Condor Cross" following the Colca Canyon downstream as it gets deeper and deeper. This is the best viewpoint to admire the Colca Canyon and the majestic flight of the Condor (the bigest flying bird on earth). You will return to Chivay for lunch and prepare the return to Arequipa, on the way you'll have stops in local towns such as Pinchollo, Maca, Yanque to have a close view of andean life. Arrive in Arequipa, transfer to the Hotel.
Day 07 : AREQUIPA - CUSCO (B)
Transfer to the Airport for flight to Cusco, center of the Inca Empire. Arrival and transfer to you Hotel after a quick tour of the beautiful Plaza De Armas. You will be free for the remainder of the day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude (10,856 ft).
Day 08 : CUSCO (B)
In the afternoon, we have programmed a Cusco City Tour + 04 "RESTOS ARQUEOLOGICOS", from 14:00hrs to 18:00hrs. This tour includes
’ENQO, Indian sanctuary of PUKA PUKARA and the spring-shrine of TAMBOMACHAY. Return to your hotel.
Day 09 : CUSCO- SACRED VALLEY (B)
Today you will embark upon a day-long guided excursion through snowcapped mountains to the legendary Sacred Valley of the Incas. Begining in PISAQ, lunch buffet at URUBAMBA, then we continue to the Fortress of OLLANTAYTAMBO. Overnight at a local hotel.
Day 10 : MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO (B)
MACHUPICCHU. 07:00 Transfer to the Train Station in order to take the train to Aguas Calientes Station. There we take a special Bus to MACHUPICCHU. FULL DAY MACHUPICCHU GUIDED VISIT. Back to Aguas Calientes, then Cusco by train. In Cusco, transfer from the train station to the Hotel.
Day 11 : CUSCO - LIMA - RETURN HOME (B)
Morning transfer to the airport for the return flight to Lima and your connecting international flight. This marks the end of our services. Trip extensions to other regions or extra days in Lima or Cusco can be arranged.
